One Group Variable: An example of this would be a variable indicating whether someone purchased your product or not. This is one group variable with two levels. Another example would be eye color. This is one group variable with more than two levels (blue, green, brown, etc.).
Two Group Variables: An example of this would be gender (male/female) and whether they purchased your product or not this month (yes/no). This is two two group variables with two levels each.
Three Group Variables: An example of this would be gender (male/female), whether they purchased your product or not this month (yes/no), and whether they found you on social media or not (yes/no). This is three group variables, each with two levels.
